It is quite strange how things happen and you look back and see how it all fell into place. Dee was up for a visit prior to her last one and I brought out the scrapbook we had done for her with every card, newpaper clippings, school reports, school letters, progress reports, report cards, drawings, letters she wrote, etc.. that we had of hers since even before the start of school. She was amazed at all the things we had kept and she spent time looking at it all with amazement. We had laughed about her first few drawing and spellings of words. The biggest laugh was the one with her spelling Scott...Skoot.
These are some of the times and memories that are so precious to us.
We are so glad she got to see this book right before she lost her life. We could see it meant a lot to her. |
