and see new pictures of them.
Subject: puppy update From: Chris Dunlop To: atender1@yahoo.com Date: Sunday, November 4, 2012 3:56 PM
Renee,Hello again. My wife and I just wanted to send you a little update on our little guy Wally. He has been such a bundle of joy! Amy and I agree that we have never seen a puppy that has seemed more well mannered and well adjusted as he has been. We followed your instructions with the introduction to our other dog and things have gone really well. When they first acknowledged one another they both seemed to show signs of excitement, tails wagging super fast, and a gentle interest in the others presence in the home. Since, things have moved at a steady slow pace in a very positive direction. Our older dog has been a little uneasy and is still not quite use to the idea that Wally will be sharing her space but she has not shown any signs of aggression towards him and has already shared her food dish and toys without incident. Today was the first time that she has seemed comfortable sharing her space close to us on the couch with him, without maintaining an obvious distance, and she has began to settle down and act a bit more like her old self. In a couple days I am sure that things will be even better and they will be acting like best friends playing together like it has never been any different. Wally has been such a doll. he has been so respectful of our other dogs space and has not pushed her to play with him or cross into her space. It is kind of like he knows he has to let her get use to him in her own time. We could not be more impressed with how well behaved Wally has been so far. He endured the two and a half hour car ride home without any signs of anxiety, has been eating and drinking as much as you would hope for, and we have been keeping his bathroom schedule consistent, taking him out around every couple of hours to three hours which seems to be perfect for him as he has had no trouble going once he is out and no mistakes inside the house. Crate training has been a little heartbreaking though. It was kind of a shock to us where he has been so comfortable in every other way with his transition that we were assuming he might not have any issue adapting to his bed time crate schedule away from us :( but we were wrong. However, despite that, we know from our first puppy that this is typical and we just have to stick with it and he will become more at home within his crate. I know I have mentioned this before but we have just been amazed at how easy his transition was. It may have been from us visiting him a little before we picked him up, or it might just be that your puppies are just that well adapted-but it is most likely a combination. We would recommend to anyone who is looking for a new puppy in the future to take you up on the visitation offer as it seems to us that Wally already has a strong connection to the both of us. You and your partner have both been great about answering all of our questions, even the questions concerning our other dog we purchased elsewhere years ago, and we cannot thank you enough for that. The information you guys have access to for future owners in not to be understated. You obviously know the breeds you deal with extremely well and it definitely shows in the the way our puppy has come to us very well prepared for the transition. Thank you so much, in two days Wally has already been an amazing addition to our family and we know he will only grow to fit even more perfectly. We know you said you really enjoy photos so we have attached a few for you to check out, and we hope you know how much we are loving his presence in our family.we look forward to sending you future updates, we wish you and your family the best. Thanks again!Take careAmy and Chris
Hi Renee'
Had to send these pics as wanted you to see how much Tattoo loves
this comfort pup and bed. She uses it all the time during day and I
would highly recommend it to anyone coming home with new pup! Tattoo
is doing great. Last night she slept through night in her crate and
is already pretty much trained. I have been using both papers and
outside as we have had lot of ice around and I am slow with getting
harness on. We are enjoying her!
Thanks,Peggy
Hi Renee
Hope you haven't had the cold and snow we have! We have lots of pictures to send you. What a great little dog! She loves everyone and all dogs. She comes everywhere with me. She has so far been out to lunch the mall and even to test drive new cars. She likes the acura because of the heated seats. She weighs 2.8 lbs now and thinks shes a big dog. She has made great adjustments to the childrens activities. She even likes going to religion. Dr Vleuten says she is perfect. Do these little dogs tend to spike a fever after shots? She seems like she is really warm after her shots and doesn't play or eat for a couple of hours. Our dog is very talented as well I have never seen a dog balance on their front paws with the hind ones raised off the floor. I have captured it on film for you. She also says no to sleeping in the crate, maybe she realizes our dogs really own the house and let us coexist with them. She sleeps on top of a pillow behind my head if you can imagine. This pup sleeps a full 8 hrs. She is pottying rather well since it is -10 outside. She loves the artificial grass. You are a wonderful breeder obviously you take great care in breeding great temperments in these dogs. We thank you and will send photos soon.
Thanks againMargaret and Brad Cole
Hi Renee,
Just thought I'd send along a new pictures of Maise (daughter of Lacy dob 5/7/06) at 9 months. She's doing great - totally housetrained, graduated puppy obedience this week, travels to and from Maine and commutes to work in NYC with me on occasion. We've yet to fly with her - that'll be the end of the year. Smart, clownish, sweet and spunky - has a real mind of her own. In other words, a delight. People on the street stop me all the time - everyone is in love with her. I've given your name to many over the last 6 months!Lori Messner

Renee: Just have to write you and tell you how much we are enjoying our dog that we purchased from you last December. It was a phantom malte-poo. From the moment we met you in the parking lot in Kittery to this date, she has been nothing but a bundle of joy. We named her Nutmeg. She is so well adjusted and just a love. As you may recall, I told you that I had never owned a dog before due to allergies. I can't believe what I have missed out on all these years. She traveled several times this past winter back and forth to CA and was always the star of the flight including our flight Christmas day. At just 11 weeks she ended up riding first class being held by a stewardess most of the flight while we rode in coach. They just couldn't put her down. Again, many thanks. I just thought you would be interested.
P.S. Is your son home from Iraq yet? I certainly hope so.Jeanne Holmgren
Hi Renee,
"Jigsaw" is doing awesome. We started puppy class last night and she was very popular. She is more stout than Clover was and is developing so much faster. She keeps up pretty well with her big sister and they get along perfectly. Jigsaw sticks up for herself and Clover is very gentle so they are pretty much inseparable now. She has had a couple rounds of shots and is in good shape health-wise.
When I am out walking them people always stop to ask questions about them. Almost everyone comments on how sweet they are. They have great dispositions, are patient and friendly. (Whereas most of the dogs we meet are pulling, lounging, fidgeting, etc...) I am loving having two of them so if people ask you I would definitely recommend it.
Thanks for checking in.Kara

Our Laci is doing awesome as well! She is such a friendly, well-mannered little pup, I can't even believe it. We've done a little bit of training with her here at home and she has learned so fast. She knows her name, will "sit", "come", lay "down", and she's starting to understand "stay". I've also trained her to ring the bell to go out and she's completely housebroken now and has been consistently ringing the bell to go out. It's amazing!
Everywhere we go, people flock to her as well. Everyone asks what breed she is and comment on how good she is. We took her to the beach one evening in our town and she went beserk with happiness! It was so funny how much she loved it and was not afraid of the water at all (it was all I could do to not let her run straight into the oncoming waves which would have completely knocked her over! I had to hold her back!).
Her second appointment with the vet is this Tuesday. She's been eating well and seems very healthy and growing. We just love her!
Great to hear from you,Tina
Good morning Renee.
It has been a long time since I have chatted with you, but I just wanted to give you an update on Otis (From your first liter of Morkies). I have attached a few updated pictures for you.
He is such a wonderful dog and is so affectionate…he is definitely a "mommy's boy" but will snuggle with just about anyone. He was very easy to train and no longer stays in a crate. Actually we put that away almost a year ago. He sleeps in my daughters room every night and has free run of the house during the day when we are at work. He makes no messes anywhere and is 100% trained to go outside.
He is just over 2 1/2 years old and is about 7lbs. He looks bigger, but that is because we leave his hair fluffy.
He is doing very good and is loved very much. Morkie is a wonderful breed and he is everything we hoped he would be.
Have a great holiday.

Hi Renee,
I just want to let you know that Jake is fitting in perfectly with our
family. He has been such a joy. My girls just love him. We have started our
puppy training and he has been doing very well.
I have attached a picture. We think he is the cutest Morkie, don't you?
Thank you again,Kim Duplessis
Dear Renee, 4/20/2011
I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how much we love our Crestese dog that we purchased from you just over 2 years ago. Her name is Bella Boo, I think your family had named her Rosy, she was born in October 2008. We use to live in Saco but have since moved to Switzerland. One of the best things about Switzerland is that dogs can go with you everywhere (for the most part), grocery stores, hotels, and restaurants… And Bella loves to visit, we went to Venice, Italy last week and she had a great time. As long as she is with us she is happy. She is the most gentle, happy, loving dog I have ever owned. She is wonderful with the adults, kids and other animals.
I periodically check your website to see all the adorable puppies and have noticed that you know longer seem to breed Crestese puppies. I think that is a shame. I don’t think I would ever want another breed after having Bella, she is that wonderful. All of your puppies are adorable and I recommend you to anyone who inquires after meeting Bella. I wish you the best of luck and I hope one day you will breed Crestese puppies again so other families can have a dog as wonderful as mine.
Best regards,
Amy Tremblay
