The following is a true story....please think twice before you get a puppy or dog. If you can not give them the time and love they deserve please do not get one. They are not disposable.
October 27, 2003 The dog pictured above is named "CJ". He was bought as a puppy from us and ended up in a shelter. When they got him they thought he was the cutest thing. However, puppies will be puppies and without the proper training they do go astray. He spent many hours in a crate and many hours hooked outdoors. He became such a nuisance to them that he was given to someone in their family so they could train him and take him to puppy classes. Well....he was found on the streets...skinny enough that all his bones in his body were showing...full of knots....not neutered.... full of fleas and worms. Luckily he was taken to a local shelter where I happened to spot his picture and was able to adopt him so he could get a home he deserved. He is now living with his retired mother "Rosie" and with a wonderful family. He is now neutered, up to date on shots, been bathed a few times, been wormed and on flea and heartworm prevention. He has even put weight on so his bones no longer show. He gets along with everyone (adults, kids, strangers), loves to go for rides in a car and gets along great with his feline buddies he shares his home with. He is just a very good boy who just needed someone to love and care for him. So please think twice before you get a puppy or dog. ~They are not disposable~ Please ~ do not let one of our puppies or dogs end up in a shelter. Bring them back to us so we can place them into another home. These are our children and they are not disposable. Things happen in life sometimes that we can not control and that is why we take all of my pups/dogs back if you can not ever keep them for any reason.
This is "CJ" now. Thanks Alicia, John and family! "CJ" and I will be forever grateful" |
